From Village Learning to University
Born in 1984 in Al-Wanfari, The Gambia, Baguri Kisma Sangare began his education in his village. A Gambian national and family man, he showed early commitment to Arabic and Islamic studies that would lead him beyond his community to higher education.

Joined the Islamic Institute in Banding Kunja and completed his preparatory certificate, deepening his studies in Arabic and Islamic sciences.
Secondary Stage
Completed his secondary studies, preparing for higher education in Islamic studies.
University Degree — International University of Africa
Enrolled at the International University of Africa, specializing in Islamic Studies. Graduated in 2010 with a university degree in Islamic studies, marking the culmination of his academic journey from village to university.

Connecting With the Community
His language skills reflect both scholarly training and community roots. Arabic at an excellent level, English very good, Soninke as mother tongue, and Mandinka at an excellent level. This combination allows him to teach and preach across diverse Gambian communities.
