From The Gambia to Madinah
Dr. Ali Jagana joined the Islamic University of Madinah in 2004, undertaking the full academic track from undergraduate to postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Hadith and Islamic Studies. He completed this demanding journey in 2019.
His specialization has always been centered on the sciences of the prophetic tradition its narration, explanation, authentication, and preservation.
Enrollment at the Islamic University of Madinah
Joined the Faculty of Hadith and Islamic Studies to begin his higher Islamic education in the City of the Prophet.
Master's Degree Hadith Sciences
Thesis titled: Al-Izhar Sharh al-Masabih from the Chapter of Intent and Excess to the Chapter of Shaving and Haircutting. A critical study and verification of a classical Hadith commentary manuscript.
Doctorate in Hadith and Islamic Studies
Doctoral dissertation focusing on classical Hadith literature, textual verification, and scholarly annotation, continuing his work on manuscript investigation and commentary.
